Motivation

The stories of past courage... can offer hope, they can provide inspiration. But they cannot supply courage itself. For this each man must look into his own soul. - John F. Kennedy

All our dreams can come true - if we have the courage to pursue them. - Walt Disney

The fact is, that to do anything in the world worth doing, we must not stand back shivering and thinking of the cold and danger, but jump in and scramble through as well as we can. - Robert Cushing

Discover the Power of Positive Thinking

Have you ever met someone who was just brimming with enthusiasm? Did this person meet every obstacle with excitement and look at every challenge as a new opportunity instead of a potential pitfall? Would you like to discover the secret that these positive thinkers share?

Actually there is no single secret to the power of positive thinking. Thinking positively and looking on the bright side is a way of life, and unfortunately it comes more naturally to some than it does to others. Some people just naturally look on the bright side of every issue, while others are mired in negative thoughts and emotions. The good news is that it is possible for even the most negative person to transform his or her life and see things through a new set of eyes. It may take some work and some patience, but learning to think positively can be a life-changing experience.

We have all heard that our attitude can influence our lives in a myriad of ways, and those with a bright and sunny outlook often do better in a number of different areas of life. From work and career to home and family to even our health, the attitude we project can have a profound impact on our spiritual, emotional and even physical well being. Learning to think positively is not as difficult as it sounds, and the good news is you can get started today.

To start to see things from a new perspective, you will first need to reframe the picture you see. Most of us tend to project our past experiences into the future, meaning that a past bad experience can hold us back. By starting to look at new experiences based on their own merit you can leave your past behind and focus on a bright future.

As you begin to reframe your picture and remake your life, do not be afraid to ask for support from those around you. Most of us have a larger support structure than we realize, and friends, family members, coworkers and others are often eager to help.

It takes courage to turn from negative thinking to positive ones, and it is important to be both brave and patient through this transformation. Changing your outlook will take a concerted effort on your part, and nothing good happens overnight. The road may be longer than you anticipated but the rewards will be many.

Do it Anyway

People are often unreasonable, illogical, and self-centered;
Forgive them anyway ...

If you are kind, People may accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives ;
Be kind anyway...

If you are successful, you will win some false friends and some true  enemies ;
Succeed anyway ...

If you are honest and frank , people may cheat you ;
Be honest and frank anyway ...

What you spend years building, someone could destroy overnight ;
Build anyway ...

If you find serenity and happiness , they may be jealous ;
Be happy anyway ...

The good you do today , people will often forget tomorrow ;
Do good anyway ...

Give the world the best you have , and it may never be enough ;
Give the world the best you've got anyway ...

You see, in the final analysis,
It is between you and God ;
It was never between you and them anyway ...
