Life Lessons

Life Lesson 1: Take time to look at the beauty around you, for you never know when it will be the last time you can.

Life Lesson 2: Live, learn, love and be kind.

Judging Others

If we understand why we are all here, it is easy to see that we all have lessons to learn. We choose to be here, not only to learn, but to help teach others. We all have free will. Free will allows us to learn and make decisions. There would be no purpose for us to be here if we could not make decisions for ourselves. Free Will must always be respected.

If we stop looking at others to judge them, but instead look at them from our soul’s perspective, we can begin to understand the divine plan. When we begin to understand that the soul is experiencing an intentional lesson, we start to honor that person’s free will. We begin to understand that the person is experiencing a life lesson.

Souls populate the Earth for different reasons. Some souls are here to learn how to overcome adversity, while others are here to teach compassion. Some souls are here to help teach other how NOT to live. These souls set examples of how not to act and how not to treat people. Do not judge these souls, it is not your place. Respect the lesson they are giving and you are learning. In turn, be sure you learn from their lesson, otherwise their lesson will have been lost to you.

Remember we are all her to learn. Life lessons can be hard, but if we pay attention to the lesson it will not be done in vain. If you want to live a happier life, learn not to judge. Respect others and look for the lesson. You not only will be happier but you will also become a better person for it.

Just Be My Friend

Don't walk in front of me; I may not follow. Don't walk behind me; I may not lead. Just walk beside me and be my friend. - Albert Camus

Start With Yourself

When I was young and free and my imagination had no limits, I dreamed of changing the world. As I grew older and wiser, I discovered the world would not change, so I shortened my sights somewhat and decided to change only my country.

But, it too, seemed immovable.

As I grew into my twilight years, in one last desperate attempt, I settled for changing only my family, those closest to me, but alas, they would have none of it.

And now as I lie on my deathbed, I suddenly realize: If I had only changed my self first, then by example I would have changed my family.

From their inspiration and encouragement, I would then have been able to better my country and, who knows, I may have even changed the world.

No Regrets

Living with Regrets is like living with a 200 lb weight chained to you, always dragging what could have been or what should have been. We cannot move forward for being held back. Live your life with no regrets. What does this mean? This means to be there for someone when you can. Do ignore a phone call just because you don't feel like talking. You never know if it will be the last time you talk to that person. Take time to help someone and do not expect something in return. Do it because you would want someone to help you. Life is to short, time is limited, live it without regrets. Live life as everyday was your last.

Spend time with your family. Do no allow work to become who you are. Work should not define you, you should define your work. Remember work will never appreciate you like your family does.
